Introduction to the Pivot Premium Indicator 📊

The Pivot Point indicator is one of the most effective tools in technical analysis, widely used by professional traders. The Pivot Premium indicator is an improved version of the main Pivot Point indicator, providing traders with a broader view of where price may change direction or break.

The Pivot Premium indicator is a modified version of the main Pivot Point indicator. The main Pivot Point indicator can be a daily, weekly, or monthly pivot point, each of which can be very useful. The Pivot Premium indicator improves upon the main Pivot Point by displaying all three types of pivot points—daily, weekly, and monthly—simultaneously.

This indicator draws lines to represent the pivot point levels. Maroon lines represent the daily pivot point, purple lines represent the weekly pivot point, and blue lines represent the monthly pivot point.

Note: This indicator draws several lines, including the main pivot point (PP), three support lines (S1, S2, and S3), and three resistance lines (R1, R2, and R3) for daily, weekly, and monthly pivots.

The Pivot Premium indicator uses the same algorithm as the main Pivot Point indicator. However, it repeats the process for all three time frames. This allows the indicator to plot all pivot points based on daily, weekly, and monthly candles.

The formulas used by this indicator are as follows:

  • Pivot Point (PP) = (High + Low + Close) / 3
  • Resistance 1 (R1) = (Pivot Point × 2) – Low
  • Resistance 2 (R2) = Pivot Point + (High – Low)
  • Support 1 (S1) = (Pivot Point × 2) – High
  • Support 2 (S2) = Pivot Point – (High – Low)
